Mercedes-Benz decided to move forward with our founder Ebru Şinik in the Wellbeing category of “She's Mercedes” project, which is carried out globally. We are proud of Ebru Şinik, the founder of Yükselen Çağ Wellbeing Center, for she is a part of this Project as the "Wellbeing Ambassador".
The very important concept of Wellbeing, which addresses a holistic state of being well in terms of physical, mental, spiritual, social, environmental, financial and career aspects of life, is being embraced rapidly by global brands, especially after the onset of the pandemic. During this process, brands have started to lead R&D studies and set their hand to social responsibility projects.
Mercedes - Benz is a brand that had realized the importance of wellbeing concept, which will touch our lives a lot more, long before and had invested in it prior to the pandemic. Mercedes-Benz's globally driven “She's Mercedes” project is a versatile and valuable project that has been designed to inspire women. “She's Mercedes” is an inspirational platform of extraordinary stories that brings together women who have dreams with those who made their dreams come true. The goal of this platform is to enable women aiming for the best to support and encourage each other, and it is based on an understanding that derives from a common perspective rather than a community.
Women have always played an important role in Mercedes-Benz's success story since its foundation. “She's Mercedes” platform which is a part of Mercedes-Benz's "Excellent Customer Experience" strategy and inspired by strong and immortal role model women, has been active in more than 70 countries since 2015, and aims to encourage all women from all around the world.
In Turkey, guiding its strategy under the headings of wellbeing, experience, innovation, and sustainability; “She's Mercedes” brings together the stories and expertise of “She’s Mercedes” Brand Ambassadors, who have left their marks in these fields, with women through activities, organizations, and online communication.
A woman, Bertha Benz, played a critical role not only in the naming of Mercedes brand but also in its ability to reach our present day. Mercedes brand was named after "Mercedes Jelinek", the daughter of Emil Jelinek who had ordered the first Daimler car. Thus, Mercédés, which is a Spanish word meaning "Elegance", became the name of the new brand of Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft (DMG) in the early 1900s.
She's Mercedes collaborates with women, who inspirit masses and are international experts, in order to inspire others, especially in 4 categories.
Mercedes-Benz Turkey inspired women with its She's Mercedes project and carried out three film productions featuring Ebru Şinik's suggestions in order to enable women to lead a much happier and better life that is healthy, joyful, and well-balanced.
